♦Installation of Cordless Baton Draw Traverse Rod
Wall Mounted Rod ApplicationA. If possible install brackets into wall studs. Use wall anchors if unable to install in wall studs.
B. Install the support brackets spaced evenly across width of the rod.
C. Adjust brackets to desired projection. To adjust the brackets loosen the back screw of the bracket clip to allow clip to slide forward or backward. Tighten the screw at the desired position. All brackets should be at the same projection.
D. Attach the rod to the brackets by inserting the front of the bracket clip under the top of the front lip of the track. Rotate the cam locks clockwise and tighten over the back edge of the track to secure , using a slotted or square drive screwdriver. Please note: You will need 2 people to install a rod over 8 feet.
E. Attach baton to the overlap and underlap.
Ceiling Mounted Rod Application
A. Unscrew ceiling mount clip from the wall brackets.
B. Space the mounting clips evenly along ceiling.
C. Attach the rod to clips by inserting front of bracket clip under the top front lip of the track. Rotate cam locks clockwise and tighten over the back edge of track to secure using a slotted or square drive screwdriver.
Installing a SpliceIf splicing 2 rods together, splice should be placed in the center of the rods. We recommend splicing the rod together before mounting it.
A. Lay the rod and splice out on a flat surface face up.
B. Loosen the four screw on splice
C. Insert one rod on left side and one rod on the right under the metal plate of the splice.
D. Tighten the screws.
